Your Holiness:

On behalf of the people of the United States of America, I am honored to extend to you my congratulations on the sixth anniversary of your election.

This year marks the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between our two governments. I am proud of our close cooperation with the Holy See on a range of global issues, from promoting religious freedom, to supporting conflict prevention, to ending human trafficking.  I look forward to continuing our enduring partnership to ensure peace and reduce human suffering across the globe.

Please accept my prayers and best wishes as you enter the seventh year of your pontificate.

Donald J. Trump
