Embassy visit to the Lay Center

This week, Political Officer Emmett Sapp, Public Affairs Assistant Uta Sievers, and U.S. Embassy to the Holy See interns joined students from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as other interns and students from across the globe at the Lay Center in Rome.

The Lay Center strives to provide formation for all peoples through religious education and promoting interfaith dialogue. The luncheon was a wonderful opportunity for the 30 students, interns, and Embassy officials to converse with one another, learn more about the work of the Lay Centre and further the mission for religious tolerance shared by the Center and the Embassy alike.
